I met up with a couple of friends I haven’t seen for a while for lunch today. It was lovely to catch up on their news over a bowl of pasta in a bistro near where I work.
You’re probably wondering what on earth a pair of hand knitted bootees from Clothears was doing on the table. Well, look who came too.
You might remember from an earlier post that one of my much younger friends was expecting her first baby. Well, I met him today! He’s now almost two months old and so tiny. (Were either of my two ever that small?) Of course, he wasn’t at all interested in the pasta or the natter and slept the whole time. But, out of all the presents he received today, he couldn’t resist those bootees. Colleen, this one is for you.
